Top track and uniquely designed wheels

The top track of a security barrier is often targeted for break-ins, so Trellidor has spent extra time and effort designing ways to minimise attack. The rollers connect the uprights to the top track and form an integral part of the security provided. They allow the security door to slide easily when opening and closing, and have been designed to be durable.

The unit is top hung from the top track.
This ensures the barrier operates smoothly with low friction, reducing the need for maintenance.
A steel shroud covering the top track is standard on the Trellidor Plus & Trojan, and an optional extra on the standard Trellidor.

•Allows for face-on and reveal installations so that spacing off the wall is minimised, reducing the amount of leverage available for attempted break-ins.
The upright wheel holder is made from glass-filled nylon with an aluminium centre locating pin & acetyl wheels.
•These materials provide increased strength for resistance to attack.

•These components are long-wearing.
The wheel holder has been redesigned for strength.
The design is able to exceed 500kg pull-out force to protect against attack.
The wheel holders are manufactured from glass-filled Nylon 6/6 material (which is used by the motor industry for engine parts such as radiators, gears and bearings).
•Enhances the strength of the wheels.

•No rust (which you get with steel rollers on a steel track, especially at the coast).

•Hard wearing (unlike traditional steel rollers, which often need replacing).

•Excellent heat deflection & ability to withstand exposure to long-term heat (important in our long, hot summers).
