Trellidor is one of the most trusted names in barrier security in Zimbabwe. So much so that our name has become generic for all trellis-style physical security products in our home country of South Africa.

Internationally we are best known for our Trellidor Trojan, certified by the London-based Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) as the strongest sliding security barrier in the world.

We have designed and manufactured steel security barriers for doors and windows since 1976. Our research and development team in South Africa has stayed in step with the challenging South African market, improving on our product offering as new technology and materials become available. This allows all of the Trellidor consumers the oppurtunity to benefit from all the resources that Trellidor has available, providing the ultimate crime barrier to homes and businesses in Harare.

In addition to securing hundreds of homes and small businesses over the years, Trellidor has partnered with large retail groups such as Spar, UNICEF, Zimplats, FAO, British and Australian Embassy's and other NGO's. They all choose Trellidor to protect both their employees and their assets.

Trellidor's History

Trellidor South Africa began as a small business based in Durban, manufacturing and installing Trellidors in homes from apartments to large executive dwellings. As the business grew, we opened branches throughout South Africa.

By the early 1980's it had became obvious that to maintain our high levels of service and reach all corners of South Africa, we would have to franchise our operation, and today we have 60 locations around South Africa. Trellidor is still expanding to continue to provide an efficient service to all our customers.

Our export division took off in the mid 1980's. We are now represented in 17 countries worldwide, over 11 of those on the African continent.

In Zimbabwe, Trellidor opened their franchise office in Paisley road in Workington in Harare in 2001 under the guidance of William Kluckow and his sales and installation team. With the close knit-team that operates from the Harare office you can be sure that your home or business is in the hands of some of the most trusted people in Harare, the people who are going to keep you safe.

In 2006 Trellidor became part of the Trellicor Group, with sister companies Coroma and Roll-Up Serranda. All three companies manufacture security and access control products, each with a unique focus and are all available on the Zimbabwean market.
